Shawn, a Police K9 Handler, will be at the Library to explain about the dog, do a drug demonstration, and do a tracking demonstration.

Thursday Movie Matinee = “I Can Only Imagine” Growing up in Greenville, Texas, Bart Millard suffers physical and emotional abuse at the hands of his father Arthur. When Arthur becomes terminally ill, he finds redemption by embracing his faith and rediscovering his love for his son. As singer of the Christian band MercyMe, Bart’s troubled childhood and mended relationship with his dad inspires him to write the hit song: “I Can Only Imagine”.

Medicare Benefits Tuesday October 23 at 10 am
Learn more about your Medicare options!

This presentation will provide an overview of Medicare Parts A, B, C and D as well as supplemental insurance and an explanation of how they all fit together. The program will also include information about Medicare’s upcoming annual open enrollment period (October 15 – December 7) and how to receive unbiased assistance with plan comparisons. You will also learn how to use the plan comparison tool on Medicare’s website: www.medicare.gov

There will also be information provided about special programs for Medicare beneficiaries with limited income that may help them pay their Medicare costs (Medicare Savings Plans) and also help pay for their Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage (“Extra Help”).

 

 

 

Big Bend Market once a month starting in May ending in October.

 

Big Bend Market and Craft Fair once a month starting in May and ending in October in the Big Bend Village Park from 8 am to 3 pm. Vendor setup is at 7 am. Vendor spots are $25 per month for a 12′ by 12′ spot. To learn more call 262-662-2966.
